Sent to dance school at the age of 2 ½ on account of too much energy, Emma did much of her early dance training with Mandy Goddings in Gloucester. Emma joined Danceworks to expand her dance repertoire to include not only ballet, modern and jazz but also tap, contemporary, street dance and drama. As a result of her hard work, in 2009 she won a prestigious place on the British Ballet Organisation Jazz Scholars Programme.

Since leaving school, Emma has continuously worked with children as a day nursery assistant and as a private nanny, giving her an ideal background to stepping into a teaching role. She has been thrilled at the opportunity to combine her love of working with children with her passion for dance and she works very hard to inspire her students and teach them to share her affection for dance.

A stunning dancer in her own right, Emma has taken part in many dance productions and has danced several solo parts within the Danceworks Shows. She was honoured to dance one of the principal roles in Coppelia in the most recent Danceworks production in July 2010.
